hello sofar saints,
ephemeral art is my specialty. born on the stage, dies on the stage. the result is a world free from recorded versions of my shows. i even ask my audiences to refrain from recording anymore than 1 photo and 1 short video (and often they are so immersed in the performance they forget to do that). even then, i only ask them to do it because i think it maximizes utility and impact for them to be looking for the "most important" moment to capture. a little lesson in presence.
with all that said, here is the only terse clip i know exists of one of the shows:
i would say the only way to understand the work i do would be to attend my weekly performance art concert at shrine world music venue on friday nights. i imagine your schedules may not permit, so perhaps the residency itself could speak for a touch of my credibility. for more details visit:
i so far have a few people planning on reaching out to you to provide recommendation (alumni artists sheridan reed and nick catoire, and sofar host christian koerwer), though i'm always interested in discussing further, so if my contaminated curiosity peaks your interest, feel free to give me a call at 916-599-9420 and i can answer any further questions you have.
until then, as you ramble on through life, whatever be your goal, keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole,
